This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Love and Lemons iOS app (the "App") or contact App support. The developer of the App is referred to as "we," "us," or "our" in this policy.
Information we collect
The App does not require an account and we do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies in the App. We do not collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, health information, or payment information through the App.
Information stored on your device
When you save a recipe, the App stores the recipe identifier locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information is used only to show your saved recipes. We do not receive it. Removing the App may remove this locally stored information.
Recipe images and external services
The App connects to remote servers to load recipe images. When your device makes these requests, the server or its hosting provider may receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, and basic device or network information. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy practices.
If you choose to open an external website from the App, that website may collect information under its own privacy policy. We do not control external websites.
Sharing recipes
The App uses the standard iOS share sheet. The App prepares the recipe text, but Apple and the service or app you select control the sharing process. We do not receive information about where or with whom you share a recipe.
Support communications
If you email info@palocal.co, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, device details, and attachments. We use this information to respond to your request, diagnose issues, and maintain support records. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or to meet legal obligations.
Children's privacy
The App is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect support information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Your choices
You can remove saved recipe selections by unsaving them in the App or by deleting the App. You may request deletion of information included in a support conversation by emailing us, subject to any information we must retain for legal or security reasons.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App or our practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
